Over the summer of 2019, I started to work at a dog boarding and training faclity. This job had its up and down, but at the end of the day I really enjoyed work at Houston Dog Ranch. I still work there as a seasonal employee. I met a lot of great friends and lot of amazing doggo. (Took some pictures of my favorite ones.) I also learned a lot about dog behavior and why they do that things they do. In all, HDR is a place where I feel at home.
This is Coco and Prada. These puppers may be cute, don't let them fool you because they are very intimidated by people and things. They get scared of every little things. Everyone at work knows only I can work with Coco and Prada because they aren't scared of me.
Rosy is a cute minidoodle. When I first started working at Houston Dog Ranch, Rosy didn't really like people who she didn't know. Our past didn't define our future because during the Winter break, she loved her playtimes with me. A few of my co-workers figured out that she guards the grass, so if you go near her whiles shes laying down, she will bite your shoes. I think that very interesting and funny because I've never seen a dog do that before.
Cleopatra is a fun doggo. She loves to play with a tennis ball, but only if you throw the ball right. If you don't, she will make you get the ball and start all over again. She is a very demanding pup as you can read.
Wesly is the Goldendoodle (golden tan) and Ranger is the Labradoodle (dark brown). I fell in love with these doodle. I always wanted a doodle because of how fun they are around people. These two love to swim and play fetch. I never had a dog to play fetch with, so hopefully in the future I can have my own doodles.
